Daniel Lowenstein, MD, UCSF Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and the Robert B. and Ellinor Aird Professor of Neurology, has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine (NAM). Dr. Lowenstein has been a member of the Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators since 2003 and was instrumental in the Academy's founding.
